English:
The Present Continuous Tense is used to describe an action that is happening right now or at present.

Hindi:
Present Continuous Tense का प्रयोग उस कार्य के लिए होता है जो इस समय चल रहा हो

English: 

Subject + is/am/are + verb + ing

 Hindi: 

Subject + रहा है / रही है / रहे हैं

Formula

Subject + is / am / are + Verb¹ + ing

Examples

    मैं पत्र लिख रहा हूँ।
  • She is cooking food.
    वह खाना बना रही है।

    वे फुटबॉल खेल रहे हैं।

2. Negative (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

Formula

Subject + is / am / are + not + Verb¹ + ing

Examples

  • I am not writing a letter.
    मैं पत्र नहीं लिख रहा हूँ।
  • She is not cooking food.
    वह खाना नहीं बना रही है।
  • They are not playing football.
    वे फुटबॉल नहीं खेल रहे हैं।

3. Interrogative (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)

Formula

Is / Am / Are + Subject + Verb¹ + ing +?

Examples

  • Am I writing a letter?
    क्या मैं पत्र लिख रहा हूँ?
  • Is she cooking food?
    क्या वह खाना बना रही है?
  • Are they playing football?

4. Negative–Interrogative (नकारात्मक–प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)

Formula

Is / Am / Are + Subject + not + Verb¹ + ing + ?

Examples

  • Am I not writing a letter?
    क्या मैं पत्र नहीं लिख रहा हूँ?
  • Is she not cooking food?
    क्या वह खाना नहीं बना रही है?
  • Are they not playing football?
